Finally the long wait is over. Aug 5th became so special for us. My niece, the Princess, our little Meghana is born on 5/Aug/2011. The new arrival is supposed to come into this world on second Friday of Sravana masam. But Lakshmi devi could not wait and came to our house on first Friday itself :-).
For the past 4 months, lots of emotions running at our home. Finally, we all breathed a sigh of relief. Everybody is so happy. My brother is on cloud nine. My sis-in-law might have forgotten all the trouble she had during the last 4 months.
Meghana, I am little jealous of you. Now you enjoy my brother’s and parents' attention :-). I am kidding. You are the sparkle of our eyes and twinkle in our hearts.
Thought of different names like Tanvi, Mansi, Diya, Shreya etc. Her mother liked Mansi, Diya. Her grand-mother wanted Manasvi. Grand-father wanted Meghana as he researched on clouds :-). Finally everybody liked Meghana. Influenced by Bhoomika in “Missamma” and Hollywood actress Megan Fox :-).
I saw Meghana on her 5th day. She is so tiny, so cute and so precious! I was asking her whether she remembers me as I used to talk with her mother regularly when her mother was carrying her. She smiled at me. God! It was heavenly smile. My sis-in-law was telling it was her first smile. I could not capture the moment in camera. But I thought of writing this blog so that when she grows up, she can read it.
After seeing her first smile, felt that what so ever complexion she gets, it does not matter. She is our princess.
